  • Make sure Golfers have directions to the Golf Course and give themselves sufficient time to get there.
  • Be at the course at least 15 - 20 minutes prior to tee times for signing in, cart rentals and other personal preparation.
  • Help set a good pace of play by putting some experienced golfers in the lead team and at least one experienced golfer per team if possible.
  • Each golfer must have their own clubs (rentals are available at the course).
  • No outside alcohol is allowed on the Golf Course.
  • It is the responsibility of the organizer to collect green fees from the golfers and provide payment of the Rental Agreement as a lump sum.
  • Power Cart prices - 9 holes/$18.00 ... 18 holes/$25.00
  • Below are the basic rules for the “Texas Scramble” format that is popular with many groups. It is not necessary to use them. They are provided for information only.

TEXAS SCRAMBLE - RULES OF THE GAME

From The Tee
Each Team member hits their own ball from the tee on every hole. The members of the Team then decide which ball is in the best playing position (the "better ball") and picks up the other three balls (assuming four players on a team). Note the TEAM REQUIREMENTS section below.

From the Fairway
If not on the green, each member once again hits their own ball. These balls are dropped within a single club length of the better ball's position, but no closer to the pin. This continues until at least one ball arrives at the green. The owner of the better ball is the last player to play the shot.

Putting
The Team decides which ball on the green is the "better ball" and picks up the others. The position of the better ball is marked with a normal ball marker and all players putt their own ball from the mark. The owner of the better ball is the last to putt.

If any of the members sink the putt, simply proceed to the next hole as that is the better ball. Don't continue to putt.

If all miss the putt, again select the new position of the better ball from the putts just done and continue until some one finally holes out.

Team Requirements (Optional)
Each member of the team is required to provide ONE of the Tee shots for the Team per nine holes, even though those may not be the "better ball" for the team. Teams that fail to complete this mandatory requirement are eliminated from prize contention and not invited back!

Captain's Page
The "Team Captain" is responsible for scoring the round and making sure the team knows what OTHER RULES may apply.

Other Rules(Optional)
#6 - Long Drive Hole (Ladies & Men)
#9 - Closest to the Pin Hole (Ladies & Men)
