Please read the following COVID-19 policies that have been implemented by the Government of Saskatchewan based on the recent announcement of golf courses opening May 15, 2020.

If you are experiencing any of the following please stay at home and cancel your tee time:

1. You or anyone in your household traveled internationally within the past 2 weeks
2. You have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19
3. You currently have COVID-19 symptoms including but not limited to fever, dry cough, or flu-like symptoms
4. You or anyone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19
5. If you or anyone in your household are awaiting test results for COVID-19

The information below is designed to give everyone a clear direction to what we are expecting at Sherwood Forest Golf and Country Club.

Social distancing of 2 metres is required at all times while on the property. This includes the parking lot, golf cart area, golf courses especially the tee boxes and greens.

Provincial guidelines, legislation, and fines will apply on the property and must be strictly adhered to. Failing to comply with social distancing or any of the policies listed below will be subject to being removed from the property and further banned until all such policies have been lifted.

Due to the COVID-19 Saskatchewan Government Guidelines, our golf course will be running tee times every 12 minutes. This is a major reduction with previous tee times being 7 minutes apart. We ask that you respect the rules of our golf course and of the Government of Saskatchewan. All golfers are restricted to one round of golf per day to give everyone a chance to book tee times.

Facility and Operational Changes

• The Clubhouse is open
• The clubhouse washrooms will be available for golfers only, max capacity is one person (signage will be posted)
• Valley Girls will be running the restaurant with 50% capacity
• Cash will not be accepted in our Pro-shop
• Tee Times will be 12-minute intervals (previous 7 minutes)
• We will not allow back to back booking of tee times
• Any unfilled tee-off times on the same day will be on a first come first serve basis
• Maximum of 9 holes per person per day
• Sherwood Forest Members will be allowed to book 7 days in advance online
• The public will be able to book 5 days in advance
• Hand sanitizer, tees and golf balls will be available for purchase
• All carts will be sanitized and cleaned after every use

Before you arrive at the golf course

• Due to limited tee times, all players must have a tee time before arriving at the golf course
• Walk-ons are not permitted
• Take advantage of our online payment system and call-in payments
• If you are experiencing any symptoms stay at home
• Plan to arrive at the golf course no earlier than 15 minutes to help reduce traffic

Upon Arrival at the Golf Course

• Please wait to be assigned a cart by a staff member
• Please ensure the group in front of you has left the 1st tee box before making your way
• All groups must wait until their assigned tee time (12-minute intervals), NO EXCEPTIONS

After your round of Golf

• Please return your cart to the drop-off area so it can be properly sanitized
• Remove all garbage and personal items after you are done golfing
• Do not congregate in the parking lot, please exit the facility after you return your cart

Changes to your Golfing Experience

• All ball washers and rakes are removed from the course
• Flags must remain in place, do not touch the flags
• Beverage carts are not allowed on the course until further notice (However, you can purchase alcoholic beverages at the clubhouse)
• We will be grouping people together, so we utilize each tee time. For example, if you are a group of two, we will pair you with another group of two if that permits. No single bookings are permitted, you will be grouped with other golfers.

Golf Memberships
Golf Memberships will be sold, please be aware of the following restrictions: People who purchase memberships will be restricted to one round of golf per day

Online Payment

• There is a flat rate for all golfers this year
• We will not be accepting our 2 for $52 coupon this year
